What is an NFC tag?

NFC stands for Near Field Communication. An NFC tag is a small, unpowered chip that can store a small amount of information (like a website link, contact details, or a command). When a compatible smartphone comes close to it, the phone's NFC reader powers the tag and reads the information, performing the programmed action.

How do your NFC tags work?

Our tags work with a simple tap. Once you've programmed a tag with your desired action (e.g., to open your Instagram profile), anyone with a modern smartphone can simply tap their phone on the tag. The phone will automatically read the tag and perform the action—no app required for the person tapping!

What can I use these tags for?

Android: Most Android phones from the last several years. As a general rule, if the phone supports contactless payments (like Google Pay), it has NFC.

Are your tags rewritable?

Yes! All our NFC tags are fully rewritable. This means you can change the action or link on your tag as many times as you like using a simple app like NFC Tools. You can also lock your tags if you want to make the data permanent.

What are your shipping and turnaround times?
